Good Morning Friends! Tuesday and it is chilly here in Lakeland this morning. The temp is only 49. The weatherbug says it is going to be 70 and sunny. That is more like it!
Going out later to have some blood drawn for bloodwork. I might go shopping after that. Free breakfast at Denny's this morning. I think I might go. Time to go and have my shower. Have the best day!

Good morning all. I'd take the 49 degrees for a top temp Laura. We've got teens outside and if you listen to the weatherman we have a blizzard on it's way tonight.
Makes me want to be on a nice tropical island or cruise ship.

'Morning Laura, PB and all to follow. Temp. 6, expected high 32. NO snow forecast in the foreseeable future for us. Getting ready to go meet guys for our Tuesday breakfast, fellowship and support get together with the guys, then go visit Virginia, later chores. We've had traces to complete cover of snow since early December, would like to see ALL snowless ground for a change.

Laura - if you get to go, enjoy your Denny's breakfast. If you go shopping - buy something really nice for yourself. BUT, whatever you do, make it a GREAT day.

PB - hope you have a good day and get home before it starts. I know in DC, Baltimore area they're calling for 10 - 20 more, high winds and very cold. Stay safe and warm.

Good morning all.
What a fun time yesterday. We had our Parrot Head 5:00 Somewhere at Codys. They bought some leis, got some give aways, t-shirts, hats, etc. to give to the Parrot Heads. Even put out some food samples for us. Started at 3:00. We were the last to leave at 9:00. We had about 140 of us.
We left there & went with about 8 of the bartenders & servers from Codys & went across the street to Fridays. Some of the managers also came & joined us. Got home at midnight.
Definitely a long night, but a blast.

Golfing today if it doesn't rain.
Tonight Rocky & The Rollers are at the square. We'll be there selling the cruise for next year.

Laura, have a great day & enjoy that Grand Slam at Dennys. It's always good to pay down on a cruise.

Papa, have a good day & stay warm.

John, some places have definitely had their share of snow. My niece is in D.C. I think she's getting a little tired of all that white stuff.

Good morning Everyone..one of my old bosses from the restaurant I worked at for 8 years popped up on me last night. He had started a facebook page for it. I checked it out and found a lot of old friends. I have just spent an hour chatting with the other boss..Its nice to catch up and see what people are up to today.
Our weather is in the 20's now but warming up to the 40's Yippee, lol. Its going to rain all day so it will feel colder. I am so ready for Spring. When I see the Dogwoods starting to flower every year I get so excited. I wish they would hurry up..

Laura..Paying for your cruise is a great way to spend your day. I'll be doing that myself soon.

Papa..I would love to be on a nice beach some place hot. I hope your blizzard doesn't happen.

John..How is Virginia doing now? i know she was having a hard time losing her son.

BJ..(((hugs)))

Gotta go find something to cook for dinner..Back in a bit. Have a great day guys.

Good morning all from cold and white AR. Snowed most of yesterday and this AM the sun is out and it's beautiful outside. All schools are closed and lots of problems with black ice etc on most of roads. Staying cold today, only getting up to 30 with low tonight at 17. Right now, it's 25 outside.

I'm not venturing out today and hopefully some of snow and ice on streets will diminish. Milk and bread is still holding up here in the house. Smile

Chores on tap and will try and catch up on some correspondence to friends for a day of staying inside.

When I set out the bird feeder this morning, action started right away. Mr. Cardinal has been around and I marvel on how beautiful he is. Jays have been here also along with about 5 other species of birds. I guess they are hungry after our snow storm. Very Happy

Laura.......I hope you don't have to wait too long to get into a Denny's. Sometimes it can be a zoo when free food is served. Crying or Very sad

PapaBill......I don't envy you with another blizzard coming your way. Looks like my daughter in Baltimore is getting more snow today.

CCJohn......with your high for today, you will be warmer than here in AR.
Enjoy your breakfast out with the guys.

Judy.....the picture of Hawaii were delightful. Hope you are feeling better today.

Linda, wow you guys are going to be cold. We are supposed to get to 70, but I don't think that's going to happen. We're supposed to get rain & it's cloudy & pretty chilly. That's fun to get with people you haven't seen in awhile.

Frank, that black ice is always scarey. Best just to stay in. Looks like you've made some birds very happy.

Judy, thanks for sharing the pictures. We'll be back in Hawaii in May for 3 weeks. We go every 3 years. I love it there.

Good morning all. After Curves this morning we finally got our walk in. Its warming up a little but should get another chill tonight. Bettertahn snow, I sympathize with you all who are snow bound. Hope you stay warm and have plenty of things to munch on.

I think we'll take a trip to BJ'S and stock up on some things. Other than that nmot much happening here. Take care and be careful out there. Very Happy

I just got home from the store, and filling up the truck with Gas. It was cold standing out there pumping gas. We're @ 37*F with NNW wind 12 - 25 mph. Brrrrrrrrrrr Exclamation

Weatherman is saying we'll have 2 - 4 inches of snow here, Thursday night and Friday. Shocked

Good morning from Southern California. It seems like a long time since I've posted that sentence. We're getting ready for some more rain. Not as bad as before, though, but the fire areas could do without more rain, I can tell you!

Glad you enjoyed Keith's pics. He is well on the road to recovery, too. I am still well under the sinus infection and antibitoics umbrella. Any time it wants to disappear, it can't be too soon. The laundry is getting done between trips to the Kleenex box. Then there's that darned ironing, the inevitable result of laundry.

Another day of cooling it for me. Have a nice day, everybody.
